What is the Vaad UP / RCCMS portal?
Vaad UP is the online Revenue Court Computerized Management System (RCCMS) for Uttar Pradesh. Depending on the record available, visitors can search revenue-court cases, view cause-list information and read uploaded orders. The portal is maintained by the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Department with NIC support. Case updates and document availability depend on the entries published by the concerned court.
Revenue matters may include mutation or succession applications, partition, disputed plots, demarcation and other proceedings handled by revenue courts. The online record is useful for checking updates, but it is not a substitute for a certified court copy or legal advice.
Keep these details ready before you search
- Computerized case number, if one has been assigned.
- Regular case number and registration year, if you are using the older filing reference.
- Party name as entered in the court record; try the Hindi spelling used in the filing.
- District, tehsil and revenue village for a location-based search.
- Filing date, listing date or Act/section when the selected search option asks for it.
Vaad UP case status check: step by step
- Open the official Vaad UP portal.
- Choose the relevant search option, such as computerized case number, case number/year, party name, revenue village, disputed plot, or cause list. The labels can vary as the government portal is updated.
- Select the district, court or other location details requested on screen.
- Enter the case details carefully. Complete the portal’s CAPTCHA yourself if it appears, then submit the search.
- From the results, open the matching record and cross-check the parties, case number, court and village before reading its status.
- Note the displayed stage, next hearing/listing date and proceedings. Open an order link only if one is available for that case.

Search by party name, village or cause list
Search by party name
Use the party-wise option if you do not have a computerized number. Select the required court and location, then enter the petitioner or respondent name as the portal requests. Common names can return several results, so confirm the village, opposing party and case number before opening one.
Search by revenue village or disputed plot
Choose the village or plot-related option and provide the district, tehsil and village details requested. If the portal asks for a gata/plot number, copy it from the relevant land record and check each digit. A village search may return many matters; use the case type and party details to narrow the match.
Find a cause-list entry
Use the daily cause-list or hearing-date search when you want to see matters listed for a particular court or date. A cause-list entry is a listing, not a final decision. Confirm the date and court on the official page and contact the concerned court office if the listing is unclear.
How to read case status, hearing dates and orders
- Pending / लंबित: the portal shows the matter as continuing; check the next listing and latest proceeding.
- Disposed / निस्तारित: the portal marks the matter disposed. Read the order and confirm what action, if any, is required.
- Next hearing or listing date: treat this as the date displayed in the record and verify it again before travelling.
- Proceeding or purpose: this may describe the next procedural step. It does not by itself explain the legal effect of an order.
- Order / आदेश: if a PDF or order link is available, open it and check the case number and date. If the signed order is not online, ask the court copying section about a certified copy.
If a case does not appear or the portal is slow
- No result: recheck the case number, year, court and district; try another search method if available.
- Name mismatch: try the spelling used in the petition or search by case number/location.
- Case transferred: check the current court or ask the filing/court office where the record is listed.
- CAPTCHA or loading problem: refresh the page and retry later; never share an OTP or account password with an agent.
- Order missing: the online order may not have been uploaded. Contact the concerned court office for the certified-copy process.
