Spend E: Expense Tracker is an Android app for manually recording everyday income and expenses. This updated review summarizes the public Google Play listing, its developer-provided Data safety information, the app page on SarkariAsk, and the linked privacy policy. These descriptions can change with app versions; we have not independently tested every feature.

What Spend E does

The current Google Play description presents Spend E as a personal expense and income tracker. You enter transactions yourself; the app is not presented as a bank-account aggregator. Its app page also lists quick expense entry, charts, daily/monthly views, backup and restore, and no login requirement.

Features at a glance

  • Manual expense and income entries: record your transactions rather than relying on automatic bank syncing.
  • Daily and monthly views: review the totals you have entered over different periods.
  • Charts and insights: use visual summaries to understand category-wise spending, as described on the app page.
  • Backup and restore: the SarkariAsk app page lists this feature. The current Play description does not provide detailed backup steps, so check the installed version and test a backup before changing or resetting phones.
  • No login listed: the app page says no login is needed. This does not mean the app has no data collection by its advertising or diagnostic services.

How to use an expense tracker responsibly

  1. Install the app only from its Google Play listing.
  2. Enter only the transaction details you actually need for your own budget.
  3. Review your daily or monthly totals and charts; treat them as summaries of entries you made, not bank-verified statements.
  4. If you use backup/restore, read the in-app instructions and confirm that the backup can be restored before deleting the original data.
  5. Read the current Google Play Data safety disclosure and the developer’s Spend E privacy policy before entering sensitive information.

Ads, data safety and privacy

Google Play labels Spend E “Contains ads.” Its developer-provided Data safety section says the app may collect and share app info and performance (including diagnostics), approximate location, app interactions and device or other IDs. It says data is encrypted in transit and that data cannot be deleted through the developer-provided deletion process. Google notes disclosures can vary by app version, use, region and age.

The linked privacy policy separately says financial records are stored locally unless an optional backup/export feature is selected and describes advertising and technical data processed by service providers. It also says local data can generally be removed from the app/device. Because the Play disclosure and policy describe deletion differently, users should check the latest in-app controls and contact the developer for clarification before relying on either statement. Offline entry or no login does not by itself establish that all app-related data stays on the device.

The policy names Google/AdMob and other service providers and gives support@sarkariask.com for contact. Avoid entering bank passwords, card security codes, or other credentials in a basic expense log.

Who might find it useful?

Spend E may suit someone who wants to manually note routine spending and review simple visual summaries. It may not suit people who need automatic bank feeds, verified account balances, shared household budgets, or professional accounting tools. Check the current listing for device compatibility, permissions and available features.

Frequently asked questions

Does Spend E connect to my bank?

The public listing describes manual transaction entry and does not advertise a bank connection. Do not assume transactions are imported or verified by a bank.

Can I back up my records?

The SarkariAsk app page lists backup and restore, but the current Play listing does not explain how it works. Verify the option in your installed version and test a restore safely.

Does it contain ads?

Yes. Google Play currently labels the app “Contains ads.”

Is no login the same as no data collection?

No. Review the current Data safety section and privacy policy; they describe possible advertising and diagnostic data practices.
